The Bucket List

After graduating recently, I was thrilled I could cross something else off my list. You know, my bucket list. I began thinking of other things I plan to accomplish in my life, and I realized something; most of the things I plan to do are sports related.

Obviously I plan on becoming a sports journalist of some kind and don't exactly consider that crossed off my list just yet. I want to go to Fenway Park and Lambeau Field. I want to cover the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Final Four, the NBA finals and of course the college football national championship game along with many other games.

I want to be in a ballpark during a no hitter. I would love to catch a foul ball or a home run ball at a major league game. Speaking of which, did you see that kid at the Red Sox Rangers game who caught two foul balls from Josh Hamilton? That's something that kid won't be forgetting anytime soon. I want to go to Cooperstown.

A few other things on the list that aren't necessarily sports related are the following: I want to go to the White House. Maybe I can even play some T-ball on the lawn. I want travel to all 50 states. Heck, I 'd like to go to every stadium or ballpark at least in a single league. Alright, sorry that one is sports related obviously, but you see my point? Just about everything I hope to do is somehow centered around the world of sports. I want to write a book (may or may not be about sports).

When all said and done, the world in sports has made my life that much better and provides that much more to shoot for before it's too late. There's always something more to come.
