All that Brett Favre talk has taken a back seat to the Michael Vick talk. Roger Goodell said Vick is going to have to show him sincerely changed. Vick will likely read or memorize a statement made for him by his agent for when he goes in front of the NFL Commissioner. What could the former falcon possibly say that would be different? Who knows, maybe his prison buddies will join him when they get out. Oh wait, they're in Cincinnati.
Speaking of Favre and Vick, what are the chances they both end up in Minnesota? They could run the wild cat offense or have combine their skills for a an unbelievable running game with Adrian Peterson. I know, not happening because Tavaris Jackson is wearing No. 7 for the Vikings and Vick isn't comfortable with that.
Honestly, I don't see Vick being worth it. If I were an owner or coach in the NFL, there's no way I'd want him on my team. The guy's at least going to be rusty after being out a couple years. I certainly wouldn't want him lining up behind center. He doesn't have what it takes to be a quarterback. You need good leadership skills and he's not going to have that his first year out of prison. To play the position, one also needs to know how to spread the ball around. Vick looks to throw if there are no holes big enough to run through himself, and in today's NFL, that's not going to fly.
On a totally unrelated note, I admit I didn't see the Cavs' loss in game one coming. I'm starting to reconsider my postion and change my guess but that would defeat the purpose of predictions.
In the other NBA series, what's the deal with Chris Anderson? Yes, the "Birdman'. I don't know what to hate the more, the bandanna, the hair or the tattoos. The Bandanna looks like he's going for the Jim McMahon look. As for the hair ant tats, well, what can I say really?
