First thing first, congratulations are in order for the Tar Heels whocompletely dominated through the tournament to win it all. Tyler Hansbrough is right, the decision to return for his senior year is looking like a pretty good idea after all. Ty Lawson's eight steals set a new final four record. Michigan State fans have nothing to be ashamed of though. They won more games at Ford Field in the Final Four alone than the
Lions won all season.Congratulations are also in order for a former Heel. Michael Jordan was announced as a Hall of Famer along with two of his 1992 Olympic Dream Team teammates David Robinson and John Stockton.
There's never going to be a class this great. In fact, one could argue this is the greatest hall of fame class in the history of sports. Jordan was an icon. Whenever a rising star does anything in the NBA, fans and media start speculating whether or not he's the next Michael Jordan.
At one point, it seemed as though his Chicago Bulls would never win the NBA finals because they had to get by the Detroit Pistons first. It's funny how things work out. Air Jordan eventually earned five regular season MVP awards and six NBA Finals MVP awards.

David Robinson wasn't nicknamed The Admiral for nothing. His leadership skills on and off the court helped establish himself as one the finest centers the game has ever seen. Robinson led a San Antonio Spurs team that went 21-61 in 1988-1989 and turned them into a 56-26 team the following year, earning rookie of the year honors.
Robinson earned the NBA MVP awards in 1995 and 1996 but still was without an NBA finals ring.
The Spurs drafted Tim Duncan out of Wake Forest and he and Robinson were nicknamed the Twin Towers. The two seven footers helped lead San Antonio to its first NBA finals victory in 1999 and later returned in 2003. After winning his second, Robinson retired on top.
Unfortunately for John Stockton, he might just be the best player not to have a ring. Stockton, the all-time leader in
assists and steals, along side Karl Malone, lead the Jazz to two NBA finals where they fell short to Jordan and the Bulls. His name often gets thrown around when discussing best point guards of all time and was a ten time NBA All-Star. Stockton will also go into the hall with his former coach and long time Utah Jazz head coach, Jerry Sloan.
