Who thought 162 games are too many? Well it's not enough to determine the last playoff team as the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox are still breathing but one of them won't be for long as they will battle it out to see who gets in the post season. The Sox have forced a one-game tiebreaker to determine who goes to the next level and who goes home. The Tigers and White Sox were tied up at 2 when Alex Ramirez hit a grand slam to win it 6-2 and forcing that match against Minnesota. The winner of the tiebreaker will host the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS. The other ALDS consists of the other Sox, the Boston Redsox as they take on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (alright, seriously, enough with the name.). The NLDS consists of the actual LA team and the other Chicago team. The Dodgers will take on the Cubs who are convinced this is their years, especially since they haven't won the world series in 100 years. The Brewers and Phillies will battle it out in the other NLDS.
This week we move into the month of October which means MLB playoffs where anything can happen. You've gotta love baseball playoffs. It's so nice and relaxing to come home after work and have the atmosphere of a true American post-season game. With that, it's once again time for WSH.
